Right around Easter, all those fun, springtime events you look forward to start popping up in our area. And with so many to choose from, at least a couple of these New Jersey Easter events should be on your calendar for sure!
25th Annual Easter Bunny Express- April 8th, 9th, and 15th
The Whippany Railway Museum is holding its 25th annual, themed train ride through Northern New Jersey. The 45-minute ride in heated passenger coaches will be joined by the Easter Bunny and helpers handing out treats for the kids. So grab your cameras and your little ones, and hop aboard the Easter Bunny Express this April!
Easter Brunch Cruise- April 16th
Celebrate this Easter in style with a cruise that sets sail from Lincoln Harbor and provides great views of the Manhattan skyline. The cruise includes a lunch buffet that has kid friendly items like pizza and French fries, as well as live entertainment and a DJ. And be sure to keep your little ones on the lookout for an appearance by the Easter Bunny. Boarding is at 11:30 a.m., departure is at noon, and you’ll be back on dry land around 2:00 p.m.
Horseback Easter Egg Hunt- throughout March and April
If you’re looking for a unique twist on the traditional Easter egg hunt, then you’ve come to the right place. Acres Away provides both short rides and full trail rides for adults and children, and your kids can look for Easter eggs that have been hidden in the woods. So call and make your reservation for an Easter egg hunt that you won’t soon forget.
Morey’s Pier Easter Celebration- April 16th
This annual celebration takes place just where you want to be on a Sunday afternoon—by the beach. You can relax and enjoy your Easter Sunday while the kids hunt eggs and get the chance to win great prizes. It’s free for all and runs from noon to 5:00 p.m., so you’ll have all afternoon to enjoy the celebration.
Terhune Orchards Bunny Chase- April 15th and 16th
Sounds pretty exciting, doesn’t it? The bunny chase itself is somewhat mysterious, but the kids get to go on a treasure hunt and collect clues until they discover the big surprise. But there are also plenty of other activities for the little ones, including bunny crafts, a wagon ride, and of course, plenty of cute farm animals. The festivities run from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
These are just a few of the great events that you can find in New Jersey this Easter, but they’re some of our favorites. You won’t want to miss a moment of the celebrations with your friends and family this April, so why not take some time to look into LASIK eye surgery? Give us a call at EyeCare 20/20, and we can set you up with a consultation to help you understand what your options are for improving your vision.
